ziggy’s puppy picks: see scout sleep (again)

A couple of months ago I featured these adorable beds by see scout sleep as one of Ziggy’s picks.  Our furry little dude is pretty picky about beds so we were ecstatic to find how much he loved this one (not to mention how unoffensive looking it is in our apartment, we actually like it)!

So I was even more excited to receive an e-mail last night from Katie Logan of See Scout Sleep about her new venture – custom pet portraits!  Before you stop reading, these aren’t the cheesy sad-eyed puppy dog paintings you find at the mall.  Katie uses pen, ink, and gouache to create a scene in which she ‘tries to capture what is hilarious and sometimes tragic about our furry buddies‘.   I love how she uses text to add a bit of wit and humor to these somewhat serious black and white vignettes.

I would love to hang one of these in my home and since we have no framed pictures of Ziggy anywhere, I think he would appreciate it too.  Did I mention that they are so reasonably priced!?  Find more details about this project here or visit her etsy shop here.  Thank you for sharing Katie!
