I discovered the handbag line Edie Parker a few weeks ago in the January issue of Vogue Japan. For those of you who don’t know my background, my Aunt and I partnered on a jewelry line called Aroc Urtu about a year and a half ago. Since then, we have been lucky enough to get some fantastic press – most recently in this month’s issue of Vogue Japan right beneath Edie Parker! See, it all comes full circle!
After my excitement over the feature subsided, I started ogling the bags above us and went on a mission to find them. It turns out they’re inspired by vintage style clutches worn by socialites and showgirls of the 50s and 60s – which in my mind only makes them more appealing. Chevrons & glitter? Um, yes please.
