I’ve been a huge admirer of Happy Menocal‘s work for some time without even knowing it… When I came upon her site some time last month, I realized that so many of the illustrations I’d been ogling {she’s been featured by Daily Candy, Martha Stewart, J.Crew, & Jonathan Adler} were hers! I have to say, my favorites are the custom heraldry - how amazing would they be for a wedding invitation?! They are so creative and unique – unlike some of the more traditional crests that have been around for ages. And of course I also have a soft spot for any artist that does custom pet portraits.
