pieces

Yesterday was day 2 of Blogfest and I did quite a bit of galavanting with the troop – from Hearst Tower to an amazing townhouse in midtown and finally to the National Stationary Show with Mackenzie towards the end of the day.  One of my favorite parts of this entire experience was the opportunity to preview the Elle Decor concept house prior to it’s official opening later this week.  While I can appreciate a lavish, over-the-top show house a la Kips Bay, the Elle Decor house jives way more with my own personal aesthetic.

One of my favorite rooms in the house was designed by Lee Kleinhelter, the owner of a home decor shop in Atlanta, Georgia called Pieces.  The fact that I’m just now discovering this store is a sin…  Better late than never though right?  Lee was there to present her room and was so sweet and clearly uber talented.  Of course I immediately went home and browsed her e-commerce site to see what kind of goodies I might find.  Below are a few of my faves (which will hopefully someday fit into the master decorating budget)!  Can you tell I’m into rattan right now?

The wall is fabulous! I’ve been following along with everyone’s instagrams and tweets, and I think that was a big hit with everyone — wish I could have been there this week!
