no more fun & games

No more fun and games is right… I’m off to my first day at school (for interior design), which many of you know was a HUGE decision for me. I’m nervous, excited, and antsy all at once. Is it weird that I kind of feel like a kid all over again? Alex asked me last night if I had packed my backpack yet, haha. Wish me luck friends!

Have any of you guys started something new recently? School, a job, a blog, etc.? I like to stay in the loop with what everyone is up to!

    I recently started a new job (about a month and a half ago) in a new industry, but so far I love it. Best decision I’ve made in a long time, for sure.

    good luck! i started a new job about a month ago and it is still a steep learning curve, but i am loving it! i also started my blog in january, so that is relatively new and it has been a challenge to balance work with posting regularly!

    Good luck!! Starting something new is always exhilarating; and you know what they say, if your dreams don’t scare you- they aren’t big enough. My husband is interviewing for a new job in Philadelphia and New York so we are hopefully in for a big change as well.

    It’s so hard starting something new like this so I really applaud you for following your dream. You should be really proud. And isn’t it fun for it to be “the first day of school” again? New supplies, the possibilities of new friends! I had a not so great experience with starting over a while back and while it’s a part of my life I try to block out because the memory is almost traumatizing, I would never discourage another person from trying. That’s the only way you’ll find out just how great you can be.

    You’ll be great.
    I started a blog a few months back and am hoping to grow it slowly but nicely. ;) So that’s my “something new”.
