pops of color at home

Lately I’ve been really drawn to homes and spaces that are bright, light, and mostly neutral but that also have that perfect pop of unexpected color.  Below are a few of my favorite examples and the color stories they’re comprised of.  I’m thinking about using one of these as a starting point for the color scheme in our next apartment…  If you already have a neutral base to work with, it should be super easy to incorporate one of these P.O.C.s into your own home (and a great way to switch things up for summer too)!

I love the pop of orange. Maybe b/c I have that in our family room, but I also have bright green walls so its not so much a pop of color. I really like the idea of all neutrals w/a few standout pieces, though.
