taking the day off

You guys, I have been seriously struggling to find a balance between school work, blogging, and having a personal life this week. Sleeping has become a little bit of an after thought. I’m headed out to spend the day at the studio working on a big project but just wanted to pop in and say a quick hello. So hi & bye until tomorrow friends! For those of you who are also in school and/or work, find time to exercise, clean, live your life, AND blog, HOW DO YOU DO IT?  Teach me your ways!

Though I’ve been absolutely abysmal at this since we got back from NYC, getting up early is definitely a great way to fit in breakfast, a workout (if you’re inclined to work out in the morning), write blog posts, read other blogs, do household chores, etc. – the list goes on and on. I find that this is easier than working in the night, since I typically want to spend time with friends or my boyfriend then.

it’s so difficult and a constant struggle – I try to prioritize the best that I can and if I miss a day of blogging, I know it’s not the end of the world. work comes first, then freelance work and then blogging/sleeping. sometimes I might be too tired or uninspired to blog at night but I’ll get up a little earlier feeling reinspired!

It’s almost near impossible ;) I surprisingly found it easier to keep up when at school as I had small breaks here and there, and blogging found it’s way in somehow. Now, I’m not getting home from the office until 10:30 sometimes, and then it’s like…do I blog, do freelance work, or get that extra hour of sleep since I have to be up at 6AM again. I feel ya on this transition thing anyways :) You can do it!! And, as it’s been mentioned…priorities are KEY! You can’t get down if you miss a day or two of blogging, sometimes life comes first :) Good luck, and I’m so excited to be following your journey in NYC, gettem girl!
