Though I normally don’t pop in on sundays, I happened to be thinking this morning about when I first started this blog. I was convinced the 1 year anniversary was coming up this October but when I browsed back to the very first post, I discovered it was yesterday! I wish I could say I had planned something super special to celebrate the occasion but unfortunately I dropped the ball on this one. Next year?
What I do want is share are a few things that have happened since I began blogging exactly one year and one day ago today…
moved to AND from Miami Beach
got engaged (!!!)
had my home featured on the Glitter Guide & West Elm’s blog Front & Main
got a C&S shout out on the Martha Stewart blog
wrote a city guide for Design*Sponge
decided to go back to school for interior design
met and formed great friendships with some of my favorite bloggers
guest edited for Matchbook, my favorite online publication
and finally, asked my gals to be my bridesmaids last week with this email…
Am I the only one who thinks A LOT has happened this year? Though there are of course many more wonderful memories from last Fall up until now, these are the ones that stand out to me… I look forward to sharing many more adventures, fun finds, and good design with you going forward. Above all, thank you for reading and commenting – it brings a smile to my face every single day. xo
