home envy

Did anyone else happen to catch the tour of Lake Bell’s Los Angeles crash pad on vogue.com? I’m absolutely smitten! I love seeing real homes - ones that truly feel lived in – in major publications. They speak to me so much more than some of the highly stylized, super stark ones you often catch in design magazines these days.

Plus, it would appear that Lake is a fellow tchotchke collector like myself… Isn’t her little office perfection? My favorite part is that you can tell that her treasures were collected thoughtfully over time and not thrown together for a shoot. Make sure to click through and tour the rest of her home!

I’m a sucker for realistically lived in homes as well. It’s just….refreshing. Thanks so much for sharing! Loving that office space too! So practical :)

I loved this spread – her home is beautiful! I also love that Lake Bell has many Fred Shand items in her home (one of the lines that I work on at ny-lon design with our creative director who’s nickname is Fred).
