The day has finally come – I’m off to Iceland after school today! Despite the fact that I’ve got a lot of “that’s random” responses to hearing our choice of locale, it was actually recently ranked by Frommers as one of the ten trips of a lifetime. Admittedly I didn’t know much about Reykjavik before we booked our trip but I’ve since learned that not only do they have amazing natural wonders like the Blue Lagoon and the northern lights but also a thriving design community!
I’m really looking forward to exploring the architecture and colors of the city during what little down time we have… With that, I apologize for how skimpy posting was this week. I had a few technical difficulties and now I’m off on a new adventure. Happy early weekend friends!
