I was scouring the web earlier for shell-related treasures (as I’m apt to do…) when I came across the fantastic work of artist Thomas Boog. Then I remembered that I had seen an exhibition of his work at one of my very favorite NYC antique shops Maison Gerard earlier in the Fall and snapped of a few pictures. Isn’t his work stunning? I’d love to own one of his chic shell mirrors!

Those mirrors are gorgeous! There used to be a fabulous little store in palm beach that sold great shell creations similar to these, but it closed a few years ago. So it is great to know of other beautiful shell artists.

I’m glad im not the only one with a shell related fascination! I got rather excited with my recent silver shell find and addition to my store … There are some very unique mirrors in your post and i can certainly see how you were thrilled to stumble upon these
