saturday’s space

Today’s space belongs to Marlien Rentmeester of Le Catch. Though her blog is new to me, it’s fast become a favorite for seeking out stylish affordable clothing – I love how she mixes high and low so effortlessly!

As I was perusing her archives the other day I happened upon this image of her bedroom and I haven’t been able to get it out of my mind since. I’ve been searching ebay and etsy daily for yardage of her drapery, a stunning Manuel Canovas print titled Sark Metis Toile (and I believe the colorway is Celadon), but sadly it’s way beyond my current price point. I also adore her monogrammed Leontine Linens duvet with it’s scalloped edge and the taupe nailhead upholstered headboard. I’ve still been completely indecisive about mine but seeing this has me leaning towards a similarly tall option from West Elm.

I have to say, this is one of the only bedrooms I’ve seen that I would love to replicate in it’s entirety in my own home… So what do you think? Do you love it, hate it, feel indifferent about it? And do you have an all-time favorite bedroom? Feel free to share pics and/or links!

I have to agree with you, that textile is amazing!! Since the room is mostly neutral, the curtains add a lot to the space. I also love all the pops of color in the flowers, pillow, sunburst mirror, etc. I am a sucker for white spaces with pops of color!!

Oh yes, they’re my favorite as well. I try to branch out in my own home but I keep coming back to that same look!

Her bedroom is dreamlike! I love all of the white and how she has combined various patterns.

Me too. Pattern mixing like this is truly an art form!
