saturday’s space

As I continue to ponder the direction of our bedroom makeover, I’ve been looking at a ton of images to figure out which pieces I want to use to ultimately complete the project. As you know, I’ve been debating a nailhead upholstered bed for ages (okay, more like six months), but I’m having serious commitment issues as it’s a big investment that I know I’ll have to live with for a long time. Does any one watch Million Dollar Decorators? Well I’m Mary McDonald, my own worst client!

Now that I’ve come across this gorgeous feminine bedroom (which actually happens to be an image of Oly Studio‘s High Point Market showroom) I’m dying for a brass four poster bed and some oversize leafy wallpaper to go with it!

I find this bedroom calming, like you’re in nature. But I can definitely see how others might find it a bit overwhelming to sleep in… What do you think?

I love the bed frame. The walls are whats too much but the color palette is really beautiful with the green.

Whew! That room would stress me out to the max but it might be a great suite for a fun weekend trip to Cabo.

i love the bed frame, but the wallpaper does seem like a bit much to me. i have always loved this canopy bed from anthropologie…even though it is SUPER whimsical {and expensive} it reminds me of sleeping in an enchanted forest :)

just stumbled across your blog, love love LOVE it!

I agree! Love the bed. Hmmm…redecorating so this could be a contender!

Isn’t it beautiful?! I love that it has that aged feel to it. By the way, I’m a HUGE fan of both your site and textile line!
