moroccan getaway

In the past several months, Evan and I have gone back and forth and back again over where we want to spend our honeymoon. Italy! Thailand! Fiji! But I think we’ve finally settled on a destination we’re both super excited about – Morocco! Have any of you been? I’d love to hear your thoughts on the best cities to visit and any restaurant/hotel recommendations if you’d be willing to share…

In the meantime, a little Moroccan inspired roundup:

AND… In doing a bit of research on the area I came across a few images of Richard Branson’s amazing Kasbah Tamadot located in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. I’m really hoping we can make this one happen. Isn’t it gorgeous? Happy Monday!

    I love this idea SO much! We stayed at Kasbah du Toubkal which is near Branson’s place and the Atlas Mountains are amazing – among the most beautiful places I’ve ever been.

    I went to morocco this past december and had a blast! We stayed in cute little riad located in marrakech and took a day trip to into the atlas mountains. Gorgeous views! Went camel riding and explored the souks. Great choice… you will love it!

    What an amazing idea! I spent four days in Marrakesh – which were exotic and wonderful. I would recommend for a week (with a few side trips into the mountains). Enjoy and congratulations!!
