Paris in Pictures

I’m back from a whirlwind trip to Paris where I crammed as much as humanly possible into three days of sight seeing, shopping, and eating. I managed to check off most of my must-sees (no easy feat) and I thought I’d share a few of them with you today! Stay tuned for my favorites from Maison & Objet tomorrow…

We stayed at the charming Le Meurice - 228 Rue de Rivoli

First stop after a long flight, coffee & the best hot chocolate at Café de Flore - 172 Boulevard Saint-Germain

Shopping at Merci in Le Marais (by far my favorite shop in Paris from the owners of Bonpoint – all of the proceeds go to charity! It’s three levels, beautifully merchandised, and they also have an adorable café filled to the brim with books) - 111 Boulevard Beaumarchais

Wandering around the historic shop Deyrolle (it’s been open since 1831 and was used in the surrealist wedding scene from Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris. It’s a true “wunderkammer” or Cabinet of Curiosities! ) - 46 Rue du Bac

Strolling through the Jardin des Tuileries - Place de la Concorde

Inside the Tuileries lies Musée de L’Orangerie (to my knowledge, the only place where you can view Monet’s water lilies in 360° . It’s absolutely breathtaking) - Jardin Tuileries

We spent an afternoon walking up and down the shops on Rue Saint-Honoré…

I eyed an installation of Olympia Le Tan embroidered book clutches at Colette - 213 Rue Saint Honoré

Was astonished at the level of detail in the windows at Hermès - 24 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré

Ogled the amazing selection of Fornasetti at L’Eclaireur - 40 Rue de Sévigné

Spent way too much time fawning over the beautifully mongrammed trunks outside Goyard - 233 Rue Saint Honoré

Goyard on Rue St Honore

Spent a morning flitting in and out of the booths at the Marché aux Puces de Saint-Ouen (the flea is quite large and divided into separate markets so we opted to focus on Biron & Paul Bert) - 138 Rue des Rosiers

Made a final pitstop at the Louvre des Antiquaires - 2 Place du Palais Royal
